The GFA Bud Light Women’s League SEMI-FINAL Playoffs

1PM Orange Crushers vs Hyundai

Orange Crushers wins this round against Hyundai with Joi Abarntos first goal during first half and Kayla Taguacta's goal in the second half for a final score of 2-0.  At the start of the game, both teams went back and forth between both side of the field hoping to get the first goal until Joi defeated Hyundai's defender and took the shot on goal.  Goalkeeper Rosann Meeks was unable to keep the ball out of the net as it deflected off her knee.

Throughout the match, Orange Crushers started to dominate and took several shots but unable to finish.  If hitting the cross bars five times could count as a goal, Crushers would be in great shape.

3PM Guam Shipyard vs Paintco Strykers

Talk about tit for tat in goals, Shipyard and Strykers took turn in scoring their goals.  Strykers, Michele Presnell grabbed her first goal at the 4th minute to help the team take the lead.  That was not enough, 25 minutes later, Styrkers forward, Koharu Minato found a way to finish the ball on goal as it was deflected off Shipyard's defender.  While Strykers led at 2-0, Shipyard made a comeback to even the score by half-time.  Jericha Laanan and Victoria Shimizu scored one goal each in the first half.

Second half took a different turn as Shipyard Erica Quichocho made a breakthrough in the middle and scored the 3rd goal.  Five minutes later, Strykers midfielder, Eliza Mae Paulino evened the score to 3-3.

With 20 minutes left of the game, Shipyard found two more goals by Gebra Naburn and Jessi Santos for a win of 5-3.
