1. How old were you when you started playing soccer?

A. Besagar: 8 years old

2. How did you get involved with soccer?

A. Besagar: Through family.

3. What positions have you played?

A. Besagar: Goalkeeper, midfielder, stopper and sweeper.

4. Which position is your most favorite and least favorite? And why?

A. Besagar: My most favorite position would be sweeper. I choose sweeper is because it’s the last defender and they depend on you to help the keeper to keep others from scoring from your goal. My least favorite position would be goalkeeper. I choose this because when it comes from them from shooting on you, you have to block every shot.

5. How would you describe your experience on the national team?

A. Besagar: On my experience on the national team is that I’m getting better in soccer and learning how to work on my spot and it’s just my first year.

6. What would you like to share with all the other female soccer athletes about playing soccer for the national team?

A. Besagar:That all female soccer athletes have their something special unique in them when it comes from playing on a national team.

7. What is the best part about training?

A. Besagar: My best part about training is doing the ab work out.

8. What is the hardest part about training?

A. Besagar: My hardest part about training would be the drills.

9. If you were to do it all over again, would you?

A. Besagar: Yes. Because if one person does it, the whole team should do it too.

10. What tips or secret ingredient would you give to others that desire to be on the national team?

A. Besagar: Play for what you believe in and play for what you are good at.

11. If you were a spokesperson for Guam Football Association Women’s Football and you need to give a speech to inspire your fellow female athletes, what would you say to promote soccer?

A. Besagar:I would say that no matter how old you are or how bad you play. It still means that you are still allow to play soccer but one thing there is no one that can stop you from playing your game.

12. What is your fondest memory of playing soccer?

A. Besagar: Winning a game and scoring a winning goal.

13. What has been your biggest disappointment in football?

A. Besagar: Having to lose a game and letting my team down.

14. What is your favorite type of music?

A. Besagar: Punk rock.

15. Favorite book?

A. Besagar: The Land of Elyon. Part 1, 2 and 3.

16. Your favorite film?

A. Besagar: Gracie

17. Your favorite city?

A. Besagar: New York City

18. Favorite hobby?

A. Besagar: Going on computer, playing soccer, reading and having fun.

19.  Who has been the most influential figure to you?

A. Besagar: My mom.

20. What is your main strength?

A. Besagar: My personality.


22. What are you afraid of?

A. Besagar: Any type of bug.

23. Who would you most like to meet?

A. Besagar: Beckham

24. Where do you see yourself in 3 years in regards to soccer?

A. Besagar: Having to play soccer for college

A. Besagar: Play for the rest of my life.
