1. How old were you when you started playing soccer?

T. Blas-Cruz: 8 years old.

2. How did you get involved with soccer?

T. Blas-Cruz: Through friends and family.

3. What positions have you played?

T. Blas-Cruz: Everything but mostly defense.

4. Which position is your most favorite and least favorite? And why?

T. Blas-Cruz: Least favorite: Goalie because I don’t like the pressure that gets put on them, and because I don’t think I can take all the hard shots.

Favorite position: Defense.  I’ve been playing it all my life.

5. How would you describe your experience on the national team?

T. Blas-Cruz: Mesmerizing.  Every trip I have been on gives me a new memory to look back on.  Every time is a new experience.

6. What would you like to share with all the other female soccer athletes about playing soccer for the national team?

T. Blas-Cruz: It is an honor playing for the national team and representing your home.

7. What is the best part about training?

T. Blas-Cruz: Being with my team.

8. What is the hardest part about training?

T. Blas-Cruz: Conditioning.

9. If you were to do it all over again, would you?

T. Blas-Cruz: YES.

10. What tips or secret ingredient would you give to others that desire to be on the national team?

T. Blas-Cruz: You have to play with heart every time you step out onto the field.  Give it your all every time.

11. If you were a spokesperson for Guam Football Association Women’s Football and you need to give a speech to inspire your fellow female athletes, what would you say to promote soccer?

T. Blas-Cruz: In my speech, I would say, “ Soccer is not just kicking a ball.  It is always to better yourself mentally, emotionally and physically”

12. What is your fondest memory of playing soccer?

T. Blas-Cruz: I have many but one memory is during the Chinese Taipei trip.  Every time before we step out on the field, we would sing the botaleli song, which pumps us up for the game.  Thanks to Amy Atkinson.

13. What has been your biggest disappointment in football?

T. Blas-Cruz: Knowing that I couldn’ve done a whole lot better during a practice or a game.

14. What is your favorite type of music?

T. Blas-Cruz: Rock.

15. Favorite book?

T. Blas-Cruz: Don’t have a favorite book, but I like to read (sometimes) “John Saul” book

16. Your favorite film?

T. Blas-Cruz: Don’t have a favorite film.

17. Your favorite city?

T. Blas-Cruz: I don’t know

18. Favorite hobby?

T. Blas-Cruz: Play guitar and being with friends and family.  Oh… and singing.

19.  Who has been the most influential figure to you?

T. Blas-Cruz: I have many, I can’t choose.  Some examples would be Coach Cheri, Amy Atkinson and my mom.

20. What is your main strength?

T. Blas-Cruz: My attitude.

21. What qualities do you appreciate?

T. Blas-Cruz: Personality.

22. What are you afraid of?

T. Blas-Cruz: I am afraid of losing a friend.

23. Who would you most like to meet?

T. Blas-Cruz: Anyone who wants to meet me or I guess someone famous.

24. Where do you see yourself in 3 years in regards to soccer?

T. Blas-Cruz: Still playing soccer for the national team.

25. What are your goals/ambitions?

T. Blas-Cruz: I have many goals.  One is to make it to nationals every time and play college and hopefully professional soccer.
