In the Asian Region, Guam teams have participated in the Philippines, Japan, Korea, Vietnam, China, and Nepal. In the Pacific Region, Guam teams have participated in Tahiti, Papua New Guinea, Vanuatu, Fiji, and Palau. Locally, there is a significant amount of soccer being played. There is a men's division that has two seasons per year, spring and fall. The men play each season individually, but the top four teams from each season compete at the end of the year to find an overall winner. There are currently thirteen teams making up the men's league.

There is a women's league, which has three seasons. They normally play a seven a-side small field season in the spring, an eleven a-side full field season during the summer, and conduct an indoor league in the fall. There are currently seven teams in the women's division.

Finally, we have a youth division with teams from Under 6, Under 8, Under 10, Under 12, Under 14, and Under 16. The youth division participates in the spring and fall with two separate seasons. At the end of each season, we hold a jamboree, which is a one-day tournament with each club to form one team and participate. Special training clinics are held three times each year for all ages, during the breaks between seasons. The youth teams range between 50 to 60 teams made up from nine clubs in the youth division. Clubs that are generally geographically situated divides the youth division. There are clubs from Windward Hills, Southern, Dededo, Tumon, as well as a Japanese group known as the Wings, and a Korean Club and a group called team United. The men's and women's divisions are not broken up by geographical locations, although Tumon and Windward Hills also have both men's and women's teams.

The majority of the Guam Football Association tournaments and games are held at Tiyan, where we have eight fields to play on. The adult teams use two of the fields, and those remaining are generally used by the youth. The women use one of the smaller fields when they have their seven a-side season.

The sport of football has been growing very quickly on Guam and the Guam Football Association is taking major steps to increase not only participation, but also the quality of the coaches, officials, and administrators. Foreign coaches have been hired to direct coaching and the men and women's national teams. A great deal of assistance is provided by FIFA and the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) in that regard with a number of seminars and training sessions for all involved.
